WENDING OUR WAY ONCE MORE....

Ahhh, dear Kelly, Kim and Mike!!!  How mom and I loved to take our trips down the Skyline Drive with you.  When you were little.  Oh, the shouting, the screaming, the pinching and, yes, the laughter.  You were with us (virtually) when once again, mom and I ventured on down the Blue Rige Mountain Skyline Drive. 

 

 Pat Dear, I'm all packed.  You won't need that steamer trunk for only a 3 day trip!

After our lunch break, Pat reads.  I sleep...recharging my somnolent "batteries" so I can stay up till 9PM...9:30PM? zzz...zzz

 

 One of our "holy spots" down in the Shenandoah Valley.  The Trappist monastery in Berryville http://www.wisegeek.com/who-are-the-trappists.htm  Always a new spiritual experience!

One of the best things 'bout our Skyline trips is the peace/grandeur combo. Lotta grandeur.  With a lotta peace!

Local farmers really know how to gather/save feed/food for their livestock.  Corn really inspires me. Corn in every shape and form....for the Cornmeister!

The weather was lovely Wednesday.  Upper 50's.  Sunny.  That combo really turns Patricia ....uhh, on!

Lordy!  You guys are home already.  After only three days!  It's been so peaceful!  Even Renee was easier to get along with!
